TAKING YOUR COURSE
We regularly update our calendar with new courses at varying locations. There are two courses we offer in Iowa: Permit to Carry and Handgun Safety. Currently Iowa’s Permit to Carry has reciprocity in 26 states.
Our course is approximately 4 hours long, and consists of 4 hours of classroom time Periodic breaks will be taken during class. We cover basic fundamentals of hand gun use, legal aspects of handgun possession, carry, and use including self-defense and the restrictions on the use of deadly force.
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive an endorsed certificate allowing you to apply for your permit with the Department of Justice. (Additional permit cost will be $50). This process will also be covered in the course.

*CANCELLATION POLICY
Midwest Carry Academy abides by a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you give us more than 24 hours notice, we are more than happy to reschudule you for another class. Failure to provide 24 hour notice will result in forfeiture of any vouchers, coupons, deposits or payments.
